Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Nagi app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Nagi. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement. If we learn that a user is under 16 we will delete their account and data.

2. What Nagi is — and isn't

Nagi is a voice journaling tool. It helps you reflect on your thoughts and feelings through guided conversation and AI-generated prompts. Nothing in the app should be interpreted as medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Privacy > Delete account. We will delete your account data within 30 days of the request.

4. Your content

You own your journal entries. Nagi claims no rights over what you write or say. Your entries are stored on your device only — Nagi has no copy of them.

When you use the AI reflection feature, your voice transcript is processed by Anthropic to generate a reflection. You retain ownership of what you share. Anthropic is contractually prohibited from using your data to train AI models.

You are responsible for the content you create. You must not use Nagi to generate or store content that is unlawful, harmful to others, or in breach of any third-party rights.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Use automated tools to access the service at a rate that burdens our infrastructure
• Circumvent any security, authentication, or access control in the app
• Impersonate another person or create accounts for others without their consent
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

6. Subscriptions & payments

Nagi offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Subscription billing is handled by RevenueCat and processed through Apple App Store or Google Play — your payment details are held by Apple or Google, not by Nagi.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change our pricing. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it affects your subscription.

7. Intellectual property

The Nagi app, its name, logo, design, and all underlying software are owned by Lang Chao Advisory Pty Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data. By using Nagi you agree to that policy.

9. Availability & changes

We aim to keep Nagi available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or withdraw features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lang Chao Advisory Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of Nagi, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or emotional distress.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of Nagi is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim, or AUD 100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees as to acceptable quality.

11. Termination

You may stop using Nagi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, unless consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
